In the beginning GOTO's support came mainly from our amazing fundraising events. Over time, contributions from individual came to represent more than half of our contribution income.

But actually, both event and donation income have largely been due to individual support from volunteers, former volunteers, and our friends and families.

We're very grateful for each person's support, and honored to be trusted with the stewardship of our supporters' charitable dollars. 

We're finishing up our 2007-2008 fiscal year, and it looks like we've again had another year of growth in giving. It's a great feeling for all of us, and it should be for all of our supporters as well. We are very glad to feel confident that we'll be able to renew our scholarships for another year! 

Also, regular support enables us to communicate better- like through our newly designed website. It enables us to work better, with our online intranet powered by Central Desktop and with leadership training resources for our volunteers. It enables us to contemplate jump-starting new cities as well. While we don't pay our volunteers (we couldn't afford ourselves if we did!), we do try to reward efforts and support networking and reimburse expenses they undertake to get work done on GOTO's behalf.
