CAMP VISIT - DAY TRIP TO APPEL FARMS

Every time we go visit the campers at Appel Farms, we want to stay and delve into the arts and activities they partake in each and every day while attending their summer camp session.

A day trip from NYC, GOTO Volunteers head about 2 hours south to Appel Farms and attend classes with our scholars, have lunch in the dining hall with the entire camp, and sometimes get involved in a water balloon fight or other pop-up activity. 

​

Meeting with our scholars and seeing their absolute joy while at camp truly makes the hard work we do all year to fundraise and provide this opportunity worth it - summer after summer, scholar after scholar.
