Better Together, the GOTO Way
One of the core missions and purposes of GOTO is to give young professionals the opportunity to explore areas of interest that they may not have in their 9-5 jobs, and have fun too!
Some of our core areas of volunteerism are strategic business development, event planning, marketing, volunteer management and financial accounting. More than an opportunity to gain new skills, we often plan social events to explore and build our interests in the arts so that we can remain connected to our talented our young scholars.

Learn About Volunteering with GOTO
We've all volunteered with an organization that didn't fit what we were looking for. At GOTO, we truly empower the volunteers to not only be as involved as their schedules allow, but also encourage and empower our volunteers to shape the future of the organization on the whole. Our Board of Directors serves as an advisory panel and as a resource, not a group of people that tell the Volunteers what to do. We hope you'll join us!
HOW MUCH TIME DO I NEED?
Not to sound passe, but as much time as you can give to GOTO is the perfect amount! We know lives are busy and some months are more hectic than others - our Volunteers take on projects so that they can design the size and scope of their commitment versus being assigned tasks they may not be interested in the first place to complete.
ARE THERE COMMITTEES?
In short: Yes. In long: No. We have areas of interest so that Volunteers have a starting point for becoming involved with GOTO (ie scholarship, events, marketing, development, etc) but we believe the volunteer experience should be fulfilling and sometimes that involves having many areas of interest versus one committee.
ARE DONATIONS REQUIRED?
Of course we would like for our Volunteers to make a financial commitment on top of their Volunteer hours but we are realistic that some people give in actions versus dollars. We believe in a "Give - Get" model where we set total-impact goals versus individual giving potential. What you choose to donate or raise is complete up to you.
WHAT'S THE NEXT STEP?
The GOTO Volunteer experience is up to you! From there, it's a team effort through and through!
